In his 90-minute documentary film, Bernhard Hetzenauer has captured the life of Vera Kohn, a Jewish woman who emigrated from Prague to Quito. The work on the oral history portrait of the 98-year old psychotherapist and zen master took four years. In its course, he also collected archival material in Ecuador and the former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Dagmar Weidinger is a trained art historian. She has studied at the Universities of Vienna, London (UK) and Tours (F). After her PhD she has worked as a curator, lecturer and journalist, writing for various national and international newspapers and magazines. She joined ICARUS in 2014 taking over the press and public relations activities as well as working on the “insights”-magazine together with Kerstin Muff.
