Kateřina Bobková-Valentová was born in the year 1971.

She is Research employee of the Department of Early Modern History of the Institute of History, Czech Academy of Sciences and
Deputy of the Head and Secretary of the Department.

Her Professional focus is Czech history of the Early Modern Period with a focus on church history, primarily the history of monastic orders; the history of education and educational institutions, Neo-Latin Studies, the history of school theatre of the Early Modern Period, Digital Humanities.
