Jan Ludwig studied Constitutional, Social and Economic History, Economics and Historical Geography at the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm-University of Bonn. Received PhD on ore mining in the Sauerland within a project of the German Mining Museum in Bochum from the University of Bonn. Archival traineeship at the German Federal Archives and the Archives School in Marburg. Since 2012 at the Department R (German Reich) of the German Federal Archives in Berlin-Lichterfelde, until March 2014 consultant for Economics and Finances and since April 2014 consultant for Documentation and the persecution of Jews.
